High-Performance FDM System. Gaining flexibility means saying yes to more opportunities. The Fortus 380 builds parts in five different materials for more options in prototyping, tooling and digital manufacturing. Designed for users with challenging applications that require greater accuracy and repeatability.

The 380mc and 450mc 3D production systems let you build, accurate, repeatable parts faster than ever before. Produce jigs, fixtures, factory tooling and production parts, as well as functional prototypes to withstand stringent testing. With four layer thicknesses to choose from, you can strike the right balance between strength, detail, and FDM’s fastest build time.

For maximum time savings, Fortus 380mc and 450mc build complex parts faster than their predecessors. Both feature an all-new touchscreen interface for straightforward operation and maintenance.

Take designs from virtual to real in hours, not weeks. From functional prototypes with exacting tolerances, to manufaturing tools that perform under pressure, the Fortus 380mc Production Series system possesses unparalleled speed, performance, and accuracy.

Enhanced Capabilities

The 380mc 3D production system lets you build accurate, repeatable parts, faster than every before. Produce jigs, fixtures, factory tooling and production parts, as well as functional prototypes capable of withstanding stringent testing. The ability to build in four layer thicknesses allows the user to find the optimal balance between strength, detail, and FDM's fastest build time.

For maximum time savings, the Fortus 380mc builds complex parts faster than its predecessor. Operation and maintenance has been further simplified with the integration of an all-new, touchscreen control interface.

Designed for users with challenging applications that require accuracy and repeatability, as well as faster build times and greater material options.

Build Materials for Fortus 380mc

The competitive advantages of additive manufactruing are continuously reinforced by a growing list of supported engineering and high-performance thermoplastics. The Fortus 380mc builds parts in seven production-grade engineering thermoplastics:

  • ABS-M30: for great tensile, impact and flexural strength and environmental stability
  • ABS-M30i for bio-compatibility
  • ABS ESD7 for static dissipation
  • ASA: for UV stability and the best aesthetics
  • PC (Polycarbonate): for superior mechanical properties and heat resistance
  • PC ISO for bio-compatibility and superior strength
  • FDM Nylon12: for maximum toughness
